Illuminate a Life
We cordially invite you and your entire family to attend our Annual Light The Way Open House and Pet Food Drive on Saturday, December 3rd from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Our building will be illuminated in twinkling white lights for the first time this holiday season. Each light represents a person or pet that a loved one has chosen to remember or honor. These lights represent our desire to Light The Way to helping animals in need throughout Lancaster County. Lights may be purchased until November 30th to be included in this year’s celebration.
In addition to lighting our building there will be:

- Beer Tasting supplied by Spring House Brewing Company

- Vendors
- Free Hot Chocolate and Coffee Bar
- Free Hot Dogs

Light The Way kicks off our annual pet food drive. During the month of December, we request donations of pet food to re-stock the food pantry shelves used to service our clients. This year we are in need of dry dog or cat food (any brand) and dog or cat treats (any brand).
Proceeds from this event will go to support our critical programs that answer the ever-growing needs of animals in our community to keep them safe and healthy.
Special Event Details:
PARKING – Parking for Light the Way will be available in the upper parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement located at 25 Rohrerstown Road. Free shuttle service will be provided by Shultz Transportation from Lowe’s to Pet Pantry and will be running in fifteen-minute intervals. Stuff our truck with pet food donations while waiting for the shuttle!
HANDICAPPED PARKING – Handicapped parking will be available behind Pet Pantry at Patterson Financial Services.
DOGS – Well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend. All dogs must be on-leash at all times. Owners will be required to sign a liability waiver. No retractable leashes please.
